i always try to keep it on, it takes forever to turn on and i often forget to save my browsing sessions ( i use chrome)

I put my laptop on stand-by because if I turn it off, the moment I turn it on; I'm waiting 30mins... checking if its lagging, then restarting it (average 1-2hr) over and over until it stops lagging...

I close the top screen, but I don't usually shut it down. I know I should though ><;;

I turn it off whenever I'm not using it.
Otherwise my cat would walk on it and get hair between the keys.

Nah. I don't usually do it. :T only when I need to reset. Haven't gotten any crashes yet, it's a brand new laptop.

I'm not the only ooooone! I close it, it goes into sleep mode. Good enough.

I didn't use to turn off my computer, but I have completely DESTROYED my battery and cooling fan because of it lol. So now I turn it off every time, even though it's already broken...

My new laptop runs REALLY cool, so I only turn it off to update or reset. My old one however, ran really hot, and I turned it off pretty often. If I leave it on I put it on a cooling stand so it doesn't overheat.

i just about never turn mine off, its always waiting ready to go when i get home or get up, every so often it dose updates and restarts over night, that pisses me off cause i lose everything i had open for quick links, and i get confused as to why it appears to have restarted.

when i know im not going to be home for a few days and i dont have downloads going, i shut it down, then i get confused when i return and have to switch it on, i always forget it takes a bit of time to start up and rember where everything was or what i had open before.

as for my laptop, no just about never unless im taking it somewhere outside of home.
